Laser Marking - Using low to medium power lasers to permanently mark almost any material with images, text, optical character reader text, serial numbers, barcode and almost anything else. We believe our approach to laser marking is unique. We started by building our own equipment using the best OEM components. We used our own modular design allowing us to join either vector-based or pixel-based marking controllers to a variety of lasers including CO2, YAG and Excimer. We build our own modular beam delivery systems allowing a variety of lenses and other optical devices to be used. Using this modular system we can laser mark almost any material with almost anything!

Medical products constructed of stainless steel and titanium are marked with the YAG laser producing a high contrast permanent mark. We are very experienced in the medical industry and have laser marked everything from bone screws and catheters to reconstruction plates and trocar assemblies. The semiconductor industry is a specialty area for us. Sought after for our high quality and thorough understanding of the special processes involved, we are capable of serving you in this area. Using the integrated ESD stations in our laser markers we mark IC and semiconductor packages of all kinds. We routinely laser mark OCR fonts on wafers. Contact us for your wafer and solar cell marking and scribing. Ceramics are difficult to mark using traditional methods, fortunately almost all ceramics can be laser marked with good contrast. We have a great deal of experience in this area and have developed some special processes for marking ceramics. Most plastics can be laser marked with good contrast or laser etched and back filled with color. Laser marking is the mark of choice for many plastics used in corrosive environments! All metals, even gold and silver can be laser marked. Most metal marking involves removing some of the metal by permanently etching into the surface. Stainless steel, some other steels, titanium and a few other metals can be marked with a black oxide mark that removes very little if any material. YAG lasers are commonly used to mark anodized aluminum which removes the anodizing. With good anodizing we use CO2 lasers, removing only the pigment and not the anodizing, ensuring a long lasting and corrosion free mark. Mirrored image marking in injection molds, spherical marking and other odd shape marking are technically difficult, while at the same time they lend themselves to laser marking. Laser Welding - Using medium to high power lasers to spot or continuously weld two materials together. We can use variety of lasers for welding. An Nd/YAG pulsed welder and a large slow flow CO2 laser are used for spot welding and continuous welding.

Laser Drilling - Using lasers to peck (multiple pulses) or punch (single pulse) high aspect ratio holes with low heat affected zone in almost any material. Our pulsed excimer laser produces small high aspect ratio through-holes in almost anything. The CNC controlled high power CO2 laser produces larger through-holes through thicker material.
